     I love Calibre. It is from a simpler time in software.
     There’s no sign in, no pop up, no subscription. Ugly icons and features everywhere.
     Plugins are a zip file that you import.
     Cracked the drm with a click and converted them to kindle format with another.

     I love software from the good old days so much. Of course the ebook manager has a webserver logic for a niche use case. Why would it not.
