     real problem is materials science, making probes that don't break or cause scar tissue
     
     iirc there's not even a theoretical way to do that yet, hence why neuralink is a dead end venture

     i think the real problem is that it's not being worked on all that hard

     @whiteline @ageha @vriska lot of work and money go in to evergreening dick pill patents, surprisingly little in to stem cell injections and bioaugmentation
