   —for most of the 2000s the Prometheus awards from the Libetarian Futurist Society was pwned by Scottish socialists (and Jo Walton). I am conflicted but amused to be in this estimable company!

     @mjausson "Libertarian" SF tilts strongly towards hard-SF which was traditionally the most male-dominated sector. And this is a retrospective/historical award, so leans towards older works (I'm the youngest author on the list by a very long way). Finally, libertarians are mostly male and so I believe are the LFS’s voting members.
