   Oh for fuck's sake one of my crowns just came off AGAIN

   It's one of the permanent crowns I had replaced earlier this year

   I was eating a chocolate chip cookie and thought at first that something hard (like a stone) had been accidentally baked into the cookie.

   Then I spat it out and found the crown.

   Argh.

   Most places in Melbourne shut down for a couple of weeks around Xmas, so I don't even know if my dentist will be available to replace it

     @FunkyBob oh yeah I'm sure that they will. they're good. it's just that I don't know if they'll be available over the break.

     also it's come off three times now (first the original, then the temp replacement, then the permanent replacement). So I'm starting to wonder if it's time to give up on this one and try something different.

     @lookitmychicken Surely dentists have to offer some sort of warranty?

     Especially on a procedure that expensive.

     I have an appointment in mid-January to get it re-attached, which should be done for free

     But if the tooth starts giving me trouble before then, I'll have to go to a different dentist & pay money waaaaah
