     I mean, I love the idea of Framework, and am considering it for my next laptop. But this thing is also interesting.

     I would probably go with the Framework.

     More likely to last a few years longer and upgradeable as needed. Also you can assemble it yourself if you wish 🙂

     Having said that late model reconditioned Lenovo laptops are really good quality with good specs and quite inexpensive.
