Look I created my first #neovim plugin!

If you have a url under your cursor, you can now open it in your browser!

BTW, I am sure there are similar plugins, or even built in functionality for this already, I wrote it for fun, ok?

@tristan957 I was not, and I specifically did not look it so that I would not be deterred to do it my self :P

@micke @tristan957 oh sorry, I've re-read your post and realised I skim-read the last line! I thought you were asking if there was already a built-in way of doing it

@micke Since not-too-long-ago, neovim can render OSC-8 escape sequences. It should be feasible to write a plugin that inserts those sequences instead, and then you can use the terminal's "open link" shortcut for links in buffers.

@whynothugo and apparently the built in keycomb gx already does it too :)
