     i have heard that zoomers don't go to bars, and when they do they don't understand the concept of a tab and they close out after every single round, over and over again.

     @Thomas @jackdaw_ruiz that is the advantage. some bars operate with tabs and many don't. I think the student bars that were my first experience don't do tabs because they don't trust kids to not just leave and don't want to keep track of who's who

     now, see i don't agree with that policy.

     i mean i think it's fine if 18 year-olds want to drink but i think nobody should sell them alcohol because it teaches creative problem solving. but perhaps that's a topic for another thread and another day.

     @Aleums @jackdaw_ruiz I’ve told this story before, but that reminds me of a time when I was 16 or 17 and my buddy Gator came over and I offered him a beer because my parents weren’t home and I immediately knew he’d never had a beer because he asked for it over ice
