   @raffaele @edsu Honestly sounds better than the previous minister who talked about "cultural heritage as our oil fields". This one seems a pretty standard call for EU military interests to be defended through higher investments on propaganda, like the USA does since 1917 with CPI/OWI/USIA/USAGM. The EU already does this with EEAS to a certain extent. Using this mechanism to fund libraries seems a bit fat fetched. :)

     @edsu @wikimediaitalia @nemobis Yeah, and the full context is even worse: in this interview, the Minister of Culture says that we will be obligated to spend money on weapons anyway, but if we invest a small sum of money in culture (libraries), this will then allow us to not use those weapons
