   Oh no! I just found out that the app Mammoth, the instance @moth.social and @subclub will be shutting down at the end of January. This is really sad 😭

     @_elena Hmm, I don't remember its name but it wasn't an app about fediverse. I do remember that the reasons given to abandon it were both a mix of the apple market being too strict and personal reasons (having enough to do and so on).

     It always saddens me to see such project stopped and somehow I think not enough thank you (and support) are given to the authors.

     @_elena It’s a bummer because it’s a nice looking app with a unique approach to the fediverse (curated interest-based lists). But the app wasn’t reliable enough for me. I’d repeatedly have problems fetching new content, which could only be solved by deleting it entirely and starting over - all app-based filters and prefs gone. I did that a few times and hit my limit. I wonder if others had similar issues.
