   A simple `rsync` made my Ubuntu 24.04 laptop unresponsive. I'm waiting for Linux to decide what to do.

   Perhaps kill by OOM?

     @DiogoConstantino no. Only my desktop running archlinux. It is in the same network.

     Is it synchronizing files stored on a network share?

     @DiogoConstantino no NFS in both sides. Laptop running zfs and desktop LVM with xfs and ext4.

     @helioloureiro what I meant was if rsync was trying to access one. I'm asking because stalled NFS shares can cause that.
