     @albertcardona @w3c Yes, it’s just like when we had Saudi Arabia on the UN Human Rights Council or when we hold COP events in petrostates: it attempts to legitimise the bad actors. The alternative is to not do that.

     @aral @w3c Isn't it a bit like in the United Nations: at least they are at the table speaking to each other? Consider the alternative. Yes I know this falls very short of ideal.
