     @sun @icedquinn @kaia Since a unified central digital identity has been mandated by the EU for a few years now, some governments started to embrace dealing with them online. And honestly it's good when it works (mostly it doesn't). I don't have to talk to angry 50 year old women behind glass whose only goal for them is to get rid of me as fast as possible.
     
     The reason why Estonia is ahead in this department is because they've been one of the first to try it out 2 decades ago.

     @phnt @kaia @sun estonia has been diving hard in to the .. digital governance ideas (well be kind for once), for a while.
     
     they have drone surveilance for farm subsidies and AI legal judges :gutkato_konsternita:
     
     sadly they are mostly just using the machines to do usual government tyranny things, not really cybernetic socialism or the like
