regarding the 286 to altoona, I'm not sure if that is correct, but it's close enough to be intriguing, and of course would explain the "why show a fake id in a mcdonalds"

@BroDrillard yeah, the whole thing seems suspicious. Like maybe if you are picking up an online order?

Why show an ID at all at a McD?

@BroDrillard that would really be the gamer move. Order your McD's online to mix-max your savings, get carded picking up the order.

@sickburnbro @BroDrillard I doubt that he actually showed an ID at McD's. More like he was in possession of that ID when arrested and this is just a bad headline
Or it's, what do you call it, constructive whatever

@KarlDahl @BroDrillard the odd thing with parallel construction is that this is a bad environment to do stuff like that. All it does it make people more suspicious of the feds and hurts their reputation more. Much better to just say "yeah we used special measures to track him, and caught up with him at the mcdonalds with the help of this quick thinking employee" - you don't give away how the person was involved or anything, make it mysterious. at worst doesn't hurt.

@KarlDahl @BroDrillard I get the feeling, and it's certainly not impossible. But I try to always be mindful of the umbrella man at the jfk assassination. Sometimes people are weird, and so often going with what all know facts best is the most logical.
And at this point, luigi doing this himself seems most logical. The oddness comes from "why would a kid that went to a private school and an ivy do this" as family ties alone is usually enough to keep them from doing it.
