     @masukomi ugh that sucks. My dogs (also) hate going out in the rain, so I feel you (and we're getting rain here in VA today too, though not QUITE that non-stop, fortunately).

     @tim yes! There was a great big gap in the Cloud front that looked like it would be heading for us, but the way the mountains are here we end up just on the inside (wet) edge of very long cloud fronts that just keep going for hours or days.
