this is maybe the sickest burn I have seen on libertarianism yet

I think we've seen enough of bullshit with contracts to understand that a lot of evil people use it to fuck people over - it's not something they enter into with good intentions and an eye to the spirit of the contract.

@sickburnbro When I first heard of the "NAP" I thought hey finally an ironclad cover for when you gun someone down. Boy, I misinterpreted that one.

@AsukaNeko I mean, I don't think there needed to be a law - courts have specifically ruled that you can't put certain things in contracts.

@sickburnbro In 250 years one would think they would have passed a law that forbids signing away constitutional rights.

@sickburnbro My one libertarian fren would argue it should be up to the community, and the government should only exist to keep peace between them (he’ll acknowledge this as a pipe dream so he’s a constitutionalist, for NS he’s not one of fear of what comes after, to use to Armanist term for it given he’s the one who introduced me, The Priest King. Granted he’s the one non-retarded one I’ve spoken too, rest are fucking idiots.

@Witch_Hunter_Siegfired the problem is that "community" isn't well defined and always ends up only be nice when it can stay that way - once people disagree, it's always tears.
I would prefer to live much like people did ~150 years ago on the plains - nearest person is 20 miles, no-one is up your butt, if you want to go to town, ok takes you better part of a day, but you can get whatever you need for normal life.

@sickburnbro Eventually they get it. Or, they don't. Either way, libertarianism doesn't work.
