     @joeo10 My impression is that no major websites actually ever followed that HTTP header. Yes, they are enshittifying their product, but this isn't an example of it.

     @merospit It does create a major precedent that Mozilla is likely going to eliminate what makes it stand out. GPC already violates CCPA and GDPR for instance.

     @tomw I have been known that for years as you should know.

     Maybe if you have paid attention to my sentence: "they can absolutely kill many of their privacy focused features in Firefox" as a precedent of more moves to come. GPC already violates CCPA and GDPR fo rinstance.

     @joeo10 Do Not Track never worked – it was dead on arrival a long time ago. Using this to throw mud at Firefox just shows that you know nothing about the topic.

     @joeo10 Well to be fair I think most websites ignore that anyway. That said though IMO Mozilla became totally irrelevant when they became an ad company. From that point on, the user is not the priority for development
