   Anybody with #Emacs #macro knowledge could answer why a specific macro is not executed the way I recorded it?

   It's as if the last M-x is aborting the execution somehow.

     @publicvoit Try disabling your completion system, if it is non-stanadard. There might be issues related to completion.

     @amszmidt It works for emacs -q but that doesn't help much I guess.

     Bisecting my config (https://github.com/novoid/dot-emacs/blob/master/config.org) is very tedious. 😔

     I do have yankpad/yasnippet in place. However, shouldn't the issue also occur while recording the macro in the first place? 🤔
