   (long thread because there is much to cover).

   First, the good: I was able thanks to your kind donations to clear my rent this morning. THANK YOU ALL!!

   Next: My hearing for my appeal for Federal Disability Benefits before the Administrative Judge is set for Friday at 8:30 AM. It will be a teleconference hearing where I and my legal representative will testify before the judge on my medical condition and whether I fit the definition of "disabled".

     Now, the bad news: my landlord has now decided that our living space is too expensive for his income, and has decided to move to a less expensive place. Which means, I will have to find another place to stay, and very soon.

     We tried to work out a deal where I could move with him, but it went nowhere because he wanted to move completely out of the city, which is not an option for me.

     I am in the process of trying to negotiate with some relatives to stay over with them while my appeals are processed. I cannot afford to rent any apartments by myself, for obvious reasons.

     I want to avoid at all costs having to board with my siblings, because they are filled up already. But, if I have no choice, gotta make do.

     There is a 30 day period after the hearing where the judge can make a ruling on my appeal. If it is upheld, then I would immediately start receiving monthly disability checks, plus benefits backdated to January of 2022. A portion of that would go towards legal and processing fees and be clawed back to the insurance company which paid my long-term disability; but I would get to keep all payments backdated to January of this year. That would be...sizable.

     That would not only enable me to finally get off this crowdfunding treadmill, but even allow me to seek more permanent and stable housing for myself.

     If the ruling is against me, then I would have two more steps of appeal to go through.

     I will probably have to find housing before the turn of the year.

     Like I said, I am trying my hardest to not move in with relatives, since they are already filled out.

     I can't apply for HUD housing at the moment because I have no income right now (outside of crowdfunding); and I am afraid that I could face some severe backlash if my crowdfunding efforts of the past year were revealed too publicly. So, I am in a serious pickle here.

     The advantage I do have is that I don't require much more than a place to rest and sleep. All I really need is a mattress, my laptop, my storage drives, and my printer. The rest I can deal with myself.

     But, I would still need funds in the interim to pay basic expenses while all this is happening.

     The absolute last thing I want to end up with is being homeless, with no place to go, and boarding with some fam carries some risks of loss of privacy. But, like I said, in a storm, any port has to do.

     In any case, my struggle continues. Any help in donations you can give would be highly appreciated and welcomed. Some decent vibes and/or prayers wouldn't hurt, either.
