If you guys can't look at something like this and not have it bother you, you're gonna melt down when they deport the first mexican, because the media is going to do "4th grade photo of black killer" but 100x. It will be possibly the loudest and most intense emotional manipulation any of us have seen.

@sapphire @abner I mean, I get what you're saying, but this is about responses to something I poasted. It isn't very convincing for people to say they aren't bothered when they are repeatedly calling stuff propaganda.
I actually poast a lot of things that I don't agree with at all, or even stuff I don't *fully* agree with, to make a point.

Anybody can say that. Maybe it's just my personal biases, but I think "I just like to do this" is a much more believable response from a guy who shitposts or posts anime girl armpit pictures all day. Nobody makes political commentary or wants there to be awareness on subjects just for shits and giggles, in my experience. You have takes you wish to peddle- either your own, or someone else's.

I'm not saying you're getting paid for anything. That's not what "takeselling" refers to.
Anybody who has a take and makes commentary about it or otherwise tries to propogate it is definitionally peddling a take. Maybe you could say the connotations of the word "peddle" are too harsh, and maybe that's fair.
You make commentary, you presumably want people to agree with this commentary (this is the rational assumption for why *any* person would make commentary); the idea you aren't doing this for *some* sort of attention is facially laughable.

I guess I can only speak for myself here, but when I post something like "ypu"re moma jork't my" that's just for shits and giggles. When I make political or social commentary, it's because there's a specific perspective I want to propogate and have people agree with.
