   @andrewhinton Same. It feels like this very specific industry has spent a lot of time and energy severing itself from the social contract, and rationalizing the devaluing of human life via economic arguments. And now there’s shock that the arguments are being turned.

     I’ve mixed feelings re violence done even to the most “deserving”.
     But it is interesting how if a mob boss responsible for 100s of deaths is gunned down, we say he had it coming … but when an executive manages to kill & dispossess thousands — just with better lawyers — we shouldn’t be so callous.
