     @purple hey that's exactly what i'm using!
     
     a slightly... goopy... Dell Latitude E6400 ATG. running canoeboot.
     
     which i flashed onto it from within NetBSD. from the stock bios, after porting the flashing code to NetBSD, running it successfully on the first try, with absolutely no prior testing or backup plans if it bricked.
     
     and then i upstreamed the code.
     
     while on an airplane :)
