Aral Balkan (aral@mastodon.ar.al)'s status on Sunday, 08-Dec-2024 17:32:12 JST Aral Balkan @jtgd Many, to various degrees, based on their implementation of right to healthcare, right to shelter, and right to food; in other words, right to life. It’s easier to point out the outlier – the least civilised, proudly, by design: the one with the largest economy in the world and yet no right to healthcare, no right to shelter, and no right to food, but the most lethal military.

No society that asks more of people than they can comfortably deliver is civilized. No society that kills people for failing to labor according to its standards is civilized.
