   The garden tower planter has been thriving in the last few weeks.

   The fuchsia cutting from my maternal grandmother's garden is finally flowering. (My paternal grandmother used to call them ballerinas and would make them dance for us.)

   There are green beans on the way

     @pixelcats that particular one isn't particularly easy or affordable for Australians at the moment, alas.

     It's not a cheap option in the first place: https://www.gardentowerproject.com/products/garden-tower-2-composting-container-garden

     The Australian dollar is shit right now, and doesn't look like it's going to get stronger any time soon, so it's even more expensive.

     On top of that, I'm not aware of any Australian stockists currently importing them. Mine was on the last shipment that the stockist brought into Australia before deciding that shipping was too expensive and they were going to pause it.

     You might be able to find similar options?? I haven't looked recently though.

     @lookitmychicken Yeah I've researched them a little bit before, and I think the composting ones are harder to get here, but that's not so much of a drama for me, as we already have a compost situation. I'm more interested in something I can build into an enticing climbing garden for the cat. He's getting a bit older and has kidney disease, and one of the key things I'm trying to do is keep him really active and strong as so many kidney cats get frail and skinny.
