   Rich people often seem to forget that the masses tolerate their existence primarily because society itself provides a bare minimum of assurances; a place to live, raise children, feed one's family, survive. These folks seriously think they can just take more and more and more and folks are gonna go for it because "we have the power." Once folks no longer have those bare minimum of assurances, you've created an angry body of people with nothing left to lose and no more tolerance to give

     @AnarchoNinaWrites Agreeing. The trick is to squeeze just hard enough to not quite reach a critical mass of starving peasants with nothing to lose. Also helps to keep the peasants fighting amongst themselves if at all possible. Long as I've got my dollar burgers and my youtube I'm pacified.

     (dollar burger? that's so 2001.)
