     @snacks ACPI S3 is actually a shutdown mode, it's just that the RAM contents are retained.
     
     Of course malware and spyware cleverly disguised as an OS would lack polish when it comes to things like that.

     @jonossaseuraava @Suiseiseki @snacks Their suspend functionality is completely broken for years. The windows modern standby "feature" will happily wake up your laptop to install updates and/or optimize the whole .NET framework after an update while effectively turning your laptop into a backpack heater.
