Blows my mind that people are thankful that someone like a CEO of a company is dead, or wishing death upon CEO's.
These folks are just like us in the fact that they are humans, have families and so much more.
How can someone be thankful that humans are murdering humans?
Is this really what our world is becoming?

@CliffWade there are 2 things.
A person was killed. This is always a tragedy. People should be able to live their lives.
Also. A CEO of a company was murdered. This company has caused pain, financial hardship, and literally deaths of 100s of 1000s of people.
That second one is closer to justice.
People can't sue when they're bankrupt and can't pay a lawyer. Writing to congress will do fuck all. It was really a matter of time.

@CliffWade now we have a chance as a society to actually determine what amount of abuse can be heaped on to people before they snap. Maybe it's more, maybe things will be reined in.
Passively allowing a corp to destroy lives and honoring the leaders with giant compensation for causing harm may actually be coming to an end.

@CliffWade this is why I included the societal conversation. Random street justice isn't really justice, and will get out of control quickly. But other forms of justice aren't available to most people.
What's the phrase about riots being the voice of the unheard? Somebody just spoke

@ATLeagle I agree with all of this. But that doesn't mean we as society and fellow humans should go around making statements such as "I hope someone kills that CEO in cold blood" or "I hope he gets murdered".
Also, it's not just HIM that is responsible. It's a LOT of folks within the company and even outside of the company. There's better ways to get justice than by praising murder.
