     By the way I'm sort of basing my claims on the fact that certain mods are catalogued "offsite" in places like https://basedmods.eth.limo because they can't be hosted reliably in the official places. Having a look at the general themes in different games' mods in the site I linked gives an idea of what the trend is

     @sun I get the feeling that it was done out of necessity. My current hypothesis says that devs either pressure mods on the big sites with le dee em cee ayy or otherwise have them captured. So in essence how reddit goes.
