   The birds aren't real people bought the Enron trademark for $275 and are doing this incredible bit and all I want to know is how do you buy a trademark because between infowars and this every impish bone in my body aches to acquire some toxic IP

     @jonny OK, but only because you asked. My 5 year term as a be-all-end-all IT guy in a small company in a big conglomerate came to an end. It was kind of a dip in the dot-com era, so jobs for NEs were a little scarce.

     I got headhunted for Enron, specifically a newish division called Enron Broadband.

     It was skittish about working for Enron, since they had a shady reputation. In particular I found news reports about straight up bribery and murder in India. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dabhol_Power_Company
