     @Humpleupagus @djsumdog @DrFell @Java well, if you use that approach, it would be a sum of X-a where a is from 0 to X/2 thus its the mid point anyway. i think the math on that is a little off.

     nonetheless, democracy is a cute concept that makes everyone feel pretty. unfortunately, its actual definition is majority rule, no matter how correct the 49.9% are

     The rules for quorum, passage, and amendment can always be altered. The constitution contains such provisions, as do the rules of the senate.
