@GossiTheDog I don't care about how many bots frequent the shit I call posts. Infosec.exchange is the only social network I still use, and @jerry is my favorite eccentric social media network owner. Everything else is propaganda channels for oligarchs.

@GossiTheDog At some point both of these protocols need to merge.

@GossiTheDog I'm staying here - not that I have huge "infosec" role other than having a small hosting farm at AWS.
Leaving one "billionaire owned platform" to go to another one started by the same billionaire isn't on my bingo card.
I try to learn from history.

@jerry @Newk @GossiTheDog I can’t help but think that bsky is still in the pre-enshittification phase. The same adage applies as to any other commercial entity. If you’re not paying for the product, the product is you.

@Newk @GossiTheDog FWIW, after a year of declining monthly active users, and despite having moderated signups enabled and turning away about 60% of applications because they appear spammy, we’re up about 1000 MAU in the past month, both new accounts and old accounts becoming active again.
But alas, I can’t deny that infosec twitter is largely migrating to bsky.
anban repeated this.
