     @stf I get paid the same fixed percentage of the net receipts, regardless of the sale price (so I get a lot less per sale this month). It's a promotion in the run-up to the next book release on January 7th.

     @cstross if i buy this for 3 bucks, how much do you make of this? i'm buying books to support the creator (and the publisher that supports the creator) and hence i usually go for the hard cover. how does this low price benefit you or your publisher? do sales numbers somehow matter, if the price is so low?

     @cstross Silly question and I hope not too rude. Do you get paid a percentage of the selling price or a fixed amount per book sold? (I have the book paperback already)
