   Looking at finding new folks to play video games with at 44 has me about as rattled as I would be about trying to date again at 44.

     @valthonis This feels so ridiculously relevant (I'm 49). I managed to play HellDivers 2 twice in a row with a squad of old buddies until we all went our separate ways again and life continued to happen.

     What kind of games are you hoping to play with others?

     @chris @valthonis We're ~50, we've had enough interviews! Gaming is not a damn job!

     I'm mostly on PS5 and Steam (PC + Steam Deck). And I've also been rocking almost exclusively single player games. Mostly RPGs (I just finished Sea of Stars and am now bouncing between FFVII Rebirth and Chained Echoes).

     I used to love Destiny 2, but it started feeling like doing chores.

     It would be great to find a regular group of people who aren't too hardcore and in it for the fun.

     @killyourfm @valthonis As an introverted 50y old person - I feel you. My PlayStation friend list consists mostly of people "last seen 3 years ago."

     When I tried joining clans in Destiny 2 or WoW for raids a while ago it felt like applying for a job: application, interview on Discord, test run, performance review 🤯 Wasn't for me.

     These days I mostly play single player or watch from the sofa while our teenager is playing Fortnite with his friends but I'd love to get back into multiplayer when #MonsterHunterWilds comes out 🫡
