   There is a part of me that would laugh my ass off if the space nazi gutted military spending and personnel levels like he did to Twitter.

   But then I remember that he also turned Twitter into a tool for spreading fascism.

   So, yeah. I'm not laughing now.

     @gwynnion @timberwraith Musk started SpaceX because he wants to send humans to Mars and become a multi planetary civilization. I don’t know if he can convince Congress and the President that is worth the cost.

     Of course, you could argue that the military is CURRENTLY a tool used to spread fascism.

     @timberwraith I can see a scenario where Musk shuts down NASA and gives himself all those contacts instead, space is still seen as a pointless boondoggle by Republicans, and they end up cancelling all of them instead.
