     a massive problem is consumerism. People's non-stop obsession with buying plastic trash makes the ultra rich even more rich. It's like when they gave stimulus money to people during the lockdowns and they just immediately went out and bought junk. The result was massive price increases on nonsense and profits too Fat Cat fucking trash who already control everything. If I missed a month of pay we would be in a unexcapable debt spiral.

     @burner @theorytoe @PurpCat @slowfallinward @sun I do, they're terrible to be around, I'm talking about people who are just down on their luck, if I was any more poor I'd be homeless, if everyone I knew lost 3 paychecks they would be homeless.
     
     I don't like how a bunch of rich assholes convinced everyone that we're the problem

     @sun I'm sure the restrictive rules and procedures came about because there were people trying to get money without looking for work. But those folks seem to always pass through the gauntlet unscathed. Real people who want to get another job are often forced through humiliating ordeals and may still be rejected.
