     It's easy to laugh at the decade-long delay with which the new #metro of #Thessaloniki in #Greece just opened its doors.

     But consider this:

     "Among the archeological discoveries made during the excavations were 50,000 coins, two marble squares, a 15-metre-high fountain, an early Christian church and gold crowns and jewellery unearthed from over 5,000 tombs." 🤯
