  @dec_hl Yeah, the outer range shoe sizes are kind of an ordeal if you'd like to find shoes outside speciality shops. But on the other hand, it really saves money because you simply almost never buy shoes.

  @dec_hl I've been unable to find ones that correctly fit me around the calf and at the foot for about 20 years now, but visually they'd work, yes. 😄

  First try on of #LinenCyclingTrousers! It's so nice that it's been this many hours of work before even the first fitting. 🙃 (Open images for two gifs.)
  Anyway, they're not the most flattering thing (issues hidden by poor lighting in clips) but they go on and provide decent mobility, so that's alright.

A short clip of Sini standing in front of a curtain and rack of clothes, wearing a tidy and well fitting black linen shirt and a pair of less tidy and less fitting calf length trousers, plus a little white headscarf. The fullness of them has been gathered onto a high and tight waistband, which is the only perfectly fitting thing, the less is more sort of loose. The linen falls in reasonably nice folds, except at the knee, where it doesn't, and sort of juts out as a flat disk instead. This is less apparent as Sini does a little spin, then a little slightly lacklustre sideways flailing dance. Her expression says done with it all, her body language says not quite done with it all.
  2. Another clip of the same, but the tripod the phone camera is on has tilted, so it's kind of at a wonky angle. She does a much faster spin, a bit closer to the camera and directly under a lamp, shedding more light on the whole trousers situation. She lifts both legs, one with her knee reaching her bust, one to just halfway. The trousers seem to deal with this quite well, providing no resistance. The back of them falls much nicer than the front. The shirt continues being quite nice. The sleeve shape, very full and gathered at the top of arm, makes it look like she has even wider shoulders than she has, which in conjunction with the wide full trousers, makes her waist look smaller than it is. At the end she does a little "Tadah!" gesture with a jaunty hop.
