#Windblown just isn't working for me as my next big #SteamDeck time sink. It's just too linear and repetitive to keep my interest, and I think it's aimed at a more hardcore a gamer than me. I loved #DeadCells and Marvel's Midnight Suns before that (and #AnimalCrossingNH before that). I game on an exercise bike so turn-based play and action that doesn't require intense attention and reflexes is good, and reading a lot of text is not good. Anyone have some recommendations?

@RevXenoFact ooh that latter one sounds nice...I enjoyed AC but once I'd paid off all my mortgages I lost motivation because I just am not a great island designer and couldn't make anything close to what I saw in tutorials and just kinda got bored of not feeling like I had something to look forward to.

@roadriverrail hmmm.
Our Adventurer's guild. It's a TTRPG and "hardcore" in that you want to make good builds, but easy to play and has a great personality and LOTS to do.
Terra Randoma: An "open-world Roguelike" Do quests, gain rep, eventually beat the big bad - and maybe build a house or learn cooking.
Littlewood: If you liked Animal Crossing or Stardew valley, imagine those streamined and simplified with a bit of puzzly "what do I build to unlock so-and-so". Real reccomend.

@RevXenoFact oh this does sound pleasant. Charming is good for the winter. And I really just enjoy a game that fills my spare attention while I work out but still feels like it's going somewhere.

@iyamwhoiyam I actually tried Slay The Spire before and just couldn't really get into it, but I'll look into the others.

@roadriverrail I've been really into turn-based deck builders, like Slay the Spire, Monster Train, and Griftlands. Darkest Dungeon is also a great turn-based game.
