   everyone going into how Diddy had thousands of bottles of baby oil. that's like the _only_ non disturbing aspect of that case to me, yet everyone has to point it out.

     @kaia i mean it's the most absurd and thus the most easily discussable and jokeable part of it, and pointing out that fact helps to allude the depths of the degeneracy pretty well, instead of just outright saying the things that he did

     @kaia i think it's moreso, the context it's applied and wording that properly converys it.
     
     "he's a weirdo, he had like a whole basement of baby oil" > implies that he didn't do anything specifically wrong or immoral, but instead had very uncommon preferences, and indulged in it frequently
     
     "he's a freak, he had like a whole basement of baby oil" > implies he did do something wrong, and used the baby oil to satisfy his very messed up sexual desires, to extreme lengths
     
     i think it's the wording that's important here, you wouldn't call the wonder bread guy a freak for example, but you would call him a weirdo.

     @themilkman mmmh true. still shows a certain prudery of the people reporting I think. I know they might want to avoid saying the more messed up stuff to avoid getting ads removed.
