@lalah if there is an option to install in "non-graphics" mode or similar, try that. Otherwise, try a different installer that gives you such options. For example Debian's installer I think lets you choose between "graphical installer" and "text-based installer" which is good when the "graphical" stuff gives trouble. Then you can get on with the installation and troubleshoot the graphics later.

I'm trying to put Linux on a laptop and having an issue I never had before. I get as far as the "try or install zorin" screen but when I hit enter, the menu disappears and nothing happens. Anyone know how to get past this?
It's currently a windows 11 computer, I disabled secure boot and decrypted it already.
