TY for taking the time to write this, such a cool feeling reading a technical blog about a tiny service I am in :)
@AztekXYZ You bet! I like sharing this kind of info. There's no need for us all to make the same mistakes from scratch.
@tek Whips up code to fill an important public need. Writes comments in code like a professional communicator.
Tek, you're a dang unicorn.
*gives you turkey pizza*
@alltherum Aww, that’s kind of you to say! I don’t think it’s all that unusual though, surely.
I’ll take a slice of that pizza though.
@tek @alltherum After a while I think everybody (who otherwise writes comments) always writes comments without thinking. They are useful for the Future Author, even in one-person things.
@szakib @alltherum That’s why I write most things: so I don’t have to remember it myself later.
@tek @alltherum Same here. And I write the comments first, they are the specification of the pieces that have to be filled in. (I can design the structure of the program so much faster than I can write all the code for all those classes and methods.)
