     @eva_chaos i never particularly understood wine, sometimes it has happened that i have really enjoyed some, but i could never tell why specifically it tasted good for me
     
     the fact that i spend a huge part of my day writing in LaTeX, helps a lot with not having to talk to people
     
     that, and i have recently bought the spinoza problem

     My SO got me some Mt. Vesuvius wine for today and it definitely makes hanging out with my mom more tolerable.

     @eva_chaos ehm, sorry to be a bit boring, it's .... just a book
     
     it juxtaposes two stories of two individuals who both deal with rejection in their lives and resort to writing
     
     one is baruch spinoza who wrote some fairly significant philosophical work, and the other is alfred rosenberg, a nazi race theorist

     I don't claim to understand anything beyond Cajun food and barbecue, but I like what I like and anyone who wants to argue it can kick rocks.

     That being said, anything with a bit of ethanol (and not methanol) definitely smooths over social interactions for me, particularly when I have to interact with my elders.

     Ohhh, ok. I googled the Spinoza guy but couldn't figure out what the problem was. It seems like he was decent enough based on the Wikipedia page.
