     @phaedral goes along with media in general. Have you noticed. Now showing more complimentary photos of Rs. All part of “the plan”

     It’s all about education. Your Republicans are intentionally trying to put down education because they want to create a permanent under class. I think that education is at the root of all of this.

     @holeinthehead2 There's the GOP's virulent anti-intellectualism, going back at least to Ronnie Raygun and his CIA handler Papa-Bush. Then there's the end of the fairness doctrine, which opened the door for polititainment. Then there's the "profitable platforming" effect: Man on the street interviews are cheaper than real reporting and just as good or better for ratings...thus for ad sales.

     And, yeah, even Lao Tzu says to keep the plebes fat dumb and happy.
