   Controversial opinion:

   It's fine for social media servers to delete posts or censure users who post art that, while not technically illegal, appears to depict sexualized children, or sexualized characters who appear underage (even if they are supposedly a 5,000 year old dragon or sentient anthropomorphic car or some shit).

   Likewise, it's 100% fine for servers to nuke posts that seem e.g. racist, even if the author intends them to be some kind of galaxy-brain-level parody.

     Okay but what were they posting? Because if it was some loli shit then yeah, maybe they shoulda taken that somewhere else?

     If we agree that it's okay to limit expression on a social media site beyond the minimum the law requires, then that necessarily also applies to other forms of content.

     I think as long as there's an appeals process and you give some grace in borderline cases or cases where the trust and safety team lacked complete context, then it's fine to err on the side of safety - even aggressively so.

     The alternative is allowing your platform to become basically another 8chan, or another X.

     @tess This is all controversial? I'd have a hard time believing someone who strongly rejected it wasn't a channer/bad-faith participant. There are plenty queer channers and they shouldn't be welcome just because they're queer.
