I'm not opposed to advertising in general as long as it's not bullshit brainless scam like all ads are today.
I mean that initially advertising was made not only to reach people about X thing that exist in their area , but it was also then used to promote certain positive aspect of a product.
Of course there were always scammers no matter the time.
But you can't deny that at the beginningg if you asked the dude who sold you something he could say what it was.
"This steel ? It's grade 9001. Replacement parts ? Of course. Schematics ? why wouldn't we have them?"
All this what was normal stuff permitted people to compare and evaluate to make a proper choice, now you have jack shit and you have to dig yourself.
As for the way ads are distributed, plain old static html nothing more nothing less, like would paper do, otherwise you know how the current slippery slop it goes.
