   I love this photo that a friend took of me and Cookie. We went on an all day walk about from Sausalito to Mill Valley. She was always up for anything. And I had the little backpack to carry her in if she got tired.

   Up until the week she passed, she was up for walking 3, 5 miles every other day! Pretty good for a 15 year old grand dame.

     @skinnylatte "joyous" is the feeling I got from every picture of her. Especially out on walks with those cute little booties.

     @chris Cookie sometimes did not want to stop even though she was extremely tired. I always knew when she had a big snooze because her snores would be epic after long walk

     @skinnylatte Little dogs can be so impressive with how much energy they can muster! I would walk Holly on long distances and she would do it like a champ. Often she would take a big snooze afterward to rest it off.
