@meso@the.asbestos.cafe This manga panel was actually colourized for one of the Fujimi model kits.
Notice how the color of the car is actually gray like in the manga and not blue like in the anime. I painted my own model blue however.

SuperDicq (superdicq@minidisc.tokyo)'s status on Monday, 25-Nov-2024 06:39:27 JST SuperDicq @meso@the.asbestos.cafe Have you not seen Initial D? One of the main skills that gets explained in the series is the 4 wheel drift
Drifting in RWD cars (2 wheel drift) is done by upsetting the rear on purpose (like by clutch kicking or using the handbrake) is done by heavily countersteering so your rear wheels slide and your front wheels grip. You then steer the car around the corner using the accelerator mostly while you keep the steering wheel in the counter steer position.
4 wheel drifting (that Takumi actually manages to pull off in the 86 too) is much faster, because in order to get all four wheels of the car sliding you need a more speed, in this scenario you don't actually countersteer (because then it become a 2 wheel drift) but you let the front wheels slide too. Drifting with all four wheels is very often used in rally driving. -

A lot of famous practical cars are two doors like the classic Mini or the VW Beetle. -
