     @benroyce My father worked at the factory where it was made in Ireland. It came from the wet scrubbers that cleaned the chimneys, not really sure why people want to drink that but ok.

     @Soulshine @cairobraga @humanhorseshoes @benroyce Good solution. In Brazil, the addition of iodine to table salt and the addition of folic acid to wheat flour are mandatory. Fluoride has been added by law to treated water in cities for decades (1975 law). We do not have table salt with added fluoride, only "light salt" which is 50% potassium/50% sodium in the form of chlorides.

     It's relevant to note that fluoride is added to different things in different countries.
     In Germany, we can buy salt with any combination of added fluoride, iodide, and folic acid.

     in my homecountry, Brazil, fluoridation of water has been a federal law since 1974, for example.
