   @ireneista @mcc I think it would be simple enough in a Linux system - make sure the entire USB driver stack was built as dynamic modules, and disable/remove all but the usb-storage driver.

   As a hardware dongle you could certainly build a device that refuses to expose anything besides mass storage ports. A lobotomized hub chip would do the trick.

     @hyc @ireneista The thing that would worry me is I can believe someone who really knew what they were doing with Linux could do this but I also believe there a lot of people who aren't that good with linux but think they're that good with linux and what if one of them designed the stick
