   think I'll cancel Claude AI subscription and go back to ChatGPT. each time I needed Claude last few days it was very slow and experienced "increased demand", "defaulting to concise response" because of it.

     @kaia I use ChatGPT through its API, using a self-hosted instance of the open-source chatGPT-web server. Much more cost efficient than paying for a subscription.

     @kaia openai has put a lot of effort into scaling. chatgpt runs into capacity bottlenecks all the time, but they minimally affect users. no more wide scale outages like we've seen a year ago

     @zonk thanks for the update! someone else pointed at using the API via 3rd party for reduced cost. I might try that!
