     Are there any good space combat sims left? Back in the day we had X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Wing Commander 3/4/Prophecy ... the only decent one I've played from the past decade was Strike Suit Zero ... which was a short indie title and was very much BattleStar Galactica + extra colors + Gundam/Mechs in space.

     Yea I avoided that one. I'm kinda sick of open world, plus I heard the space travel/combat was either not that good or non-existent? ... the reviews looked bad enough I wasn't going to waste my time.
     
     I have my ripped Wing Commander 4 ISOs somewhere ... that would probably run insanely well in DOSBox today.

     @djsumdog Star Citizen is the only thing I know of, but I would never tell anyone to spend $$ on it at this point.
